Is This You?

You are an artist, an artisan, a crafter, a writer. Some of the above, or all of the above. You have a mission to share what’s in your heart and soul. You make sacrifices for your Work. You love your Work. Your Work keeps you awake at night, is the first thing you think about in the morning, is a sanctuary for your thoughts when you’re stuck in traffic, in a meeting at work, or standing in line at the grocery store. This is Important.

You know there is nothing wrong with making a little money in exchange for doing your Work. You might have some issues that make you uncomfortable when asking for money, but this Work is important enough that you want to do it always, and you know that you need financial support to do that. Unless you happen to be independently wealthy. In that case, go you!

The unfortunate part is that you don’t really make very much doing this Work. You have marginal success, especially compared with some of your competitors, and you’re relatively happy. Yet there is a voice inside, or maybe outside coming from family or friends, that say you should do/make/be more. Maybe they want you to give up this “hobby” and get a “real job.” Well phooey on them, right?

Except how do you get from here to there without sacrificing more than you can bear? Come hang out on the blog and we’ll learn how together.
